话说回来, 漫长的人生中, 失去本来就是常有的事, 只要不是存心丢弃就好. 失去的东西, 很不可思议地, 还是有找到的可能, 但丢弃的东西, 就从未有过拾回的例子. 他失去了什么东西, 我虽然不知道, 但目前的他, 还在丢弃与不丢弃之间徘徊...

Translation: In retrospect, throughout a person's entire lifespan, losing something is part and parcel of life and is acceptable, as long as you don't give up on that something. Though having lost ( misplaced ) something, remarkably, it is still possible to find it back. But things that are given up have never had instances of recovering back. What the thing he has lost, me is not sure, but his present plight is still immersed in the stages between losing and giving up.
Reflections: Somehow sometimes, me feel the same way as Kenshin does...dunno whether to give up or continue...life's like tat, me suppose, prompting you to make deliberate decisions tat have far-reaching consequences. But of cos', not all results are bad...some results can be pretty jovial and interestin' !?!
Well, moi' translation is beri poor, looks like me still need to Train Hard and Become Strong...hais...
