Long time ago, there was a girl called Ophelie. Ophelie lived up to her name. She was a wise and perceptive girl. But she has one shortcoming. She was a frank person. Too frank perphaps, for many people's liking. To close friends, her frankness is a virtue. To others, its a knife she used over zealously. She had a bunch of pretty close friends in college. One day, her girl friends started distancing themselves from her. She was appalled at their behaviour. She confronted them but to no avail. If she had offended them by accident, she had no idea abt that at all. Soon, her class started alienating her. She was deeply puzzled and unhappy at their sudden change of behaviour. Her close friends from her high school comforted her and tried to make her happy again. These friends accepted her like how she accepted their shortcomings as well. Her friends tried to get to the bottom of the matter by talking to Ophelie's classmates, but nothing was disclosed. The matter was not solved. One day, seeing Ophelie alone muling in a corner of the school, one of Ophelie's friend, Docilia went to talk to her..
D "hey girl, cheer up.."
O "thanks Cil, i'm fine.."
D "look, its their loss for not having a friend like you.."

D "dun think so much.. ur class has a problem man! i don't understand why they dun like you.."
O "no girl, i don't think so.. you see, when one person doesn like me, its her problem. when 2 pple don't like me, maybe they both have a problem. But when half the world dun like me, maybe its time for me to reflect on myself."
a true friend is someone who watches u change, let u change, accepts ur change. a true friend watches u grow. from one stage to another. u may leave his/her company in that period. bcos we all change. but, when u turn back, u'll realise that they've never left. Seems Too Idealistic Though...
But another friend of mine said, "is friends together.. only for happy moments? do we ALWAYS have to just talk about happy stuff, or go out enjoy together, and that's what makes you like hanging out with that person?" -- Grilled Mermaid Ariel ( Very True, that's why people who can tink up of such things earn moi respect and me don't mind if they are stupid or ugly but me just hope that people are not bad-attitude and are truthful when its time to be truthful... )
